Not sure if “exciting” is the right word, but I start my new 12-week writing course on the 14th. Well I think it’s exciting, anyway. Feels like the first thing I’ve had to look forward to in a long time.
That is very exciting! Technical, prose, poetry...?

Well this is the best season to grow almost anything and now that I just had my irrigation installed im doing a total redo of my whole lawn front and back. its only the 2nd and I've completely removed all mulch and drip bed rocks from the front of my house, reworked the beds, laid down about 1100lbs of new drainage rock (for roof runoff) reworked the mulch beds with new flush metal borders, and dropped down 37 bags of rubber mulch. I expect to get a granite mailbox post installed this month as well. Yard redo season! Man my back hurts...

The Boys Season 2
Excited for this as well and Mandalorian the month after.

Why do you worry?
Oh nooo! Now I've stopped concentrating on the US Open in order to worry about whether I really shouldn't worry! 😁

They're just watches... 😗

They're meant to wear, and they'll get worn one way or another...

Good excuse to buy a new one... 🙄

Yeah, whatever happened to Canadian tennis... 😉
Those first three are absolutely major talents - can't wait to see FAA for real one day.

He's the only one of the list I haven't seen in person. Closest we came was a Davis Cup tie in late 2018 when we though he might play the final rubber, but when Canada won the tie, the other team quit (Netherlands), so he didn't get the chance.

He had to dig in yesterday to win his first round match...it was draining just watching it. Tomorrow we'll see if he can be the second Canadian to oust Andy Murray from an event in two weeks. 👍

I had the same op as Murray back in 2018, and I havent won a grand slam since either. Goodness knows how he still does what he does. But the W for either of those guys would be great to see. 🍿
So - back on topic - September's not all bad.

It’s actually a how-to-write-a-novel course... I’ve had this idea banging around in my head for ages but i need proper guidance...

And the answer to that question was a resounding yes. Hopefully FAA can go deep.

Denis advanced in 5 sets yesterday in a gritty performance, and Vasek beat Milos - not a surprise really as he has been playing very well since his back surgery.

Murray's tanks were drained - let's hope we havent seen the last of him in the big leagues, his grit is inspirational. Meanwhile, Aliassime shows how to be a young star and a young gentleman.
