I'm a foodie, I had to get this chocolate

Just wanted to share the latest incoming. I always wanted a tropical 69 but never wanted to pay a 100% premium for it.

When the right opportunity presented itself, I pounced.

What makes this one even more special to me is the fact that I've acquired it in a 50/50 "joint venture" with my dad. It's his first Speedmaster!

It will be serviced in order to bring it to a perfect state. The case is a bit polished or worn out, I'm not sure, but still retains nice shaped lugs. Obviously the dial/handset is the true stunner here.

PS: it's a 29.6M serial number 😉

This ones mine only had in my hand to admire for a 1 HR before I dropped it off for a service at the beginning of December 29.6M serial

Only down side is has a weak spot on the track between 2 and 3 from careless handling

Not as brown as yours but getting there

They really do look like twins!
Your bezel looks very cool. But my watch has one of my favorite features out all of the Speedmasters that I've found: the "GREEN GUNKY PUSHERS"! 🤮
Jokes aside, I really like to see the watch in such a condition, you know it really hasn't been messed with 😀

Seeing the enthusiasm for vintage Speedmasters on this site leaves no doubt in my mind that there is no "bubble" in values. The interest is simply growing much (much) faster than Omega is producing cal 321 and early cal 861 Speedmasters. Things sure have changed, which is a good thing, unless you're trying to buy a 321 now.

I agree. I'm not sure I'm happy, because even though I have some speedies, I feel like I will never have enough...

Good choice of movie 😀
The seller lives in my dad's city, so it was a fun thing to get it together. We'll try to tie a lot of memories to it
