Omega Century, Caliber 266, Mom bought it for Dad about 1955, I inherited it last year.

Irreplaceable

It would be really close between a 42mm 2500 PO black bezel white numbers as @drhombus24 said, or a 300mc Spectre. If I traveled more or had to be more dressy the 300mc.

I don’t own either but have multiple watches in that niche.

I expect I’ll buy several more Omegas over the years but I’ll probably try to find random deals on vintage watches for under $500. I don’t know that I’ll ever buy another Modern Omega. I have the Seamaster pro below (with all the original parts to put it back to true form a few years from now)

(8 week old daughters feet, I don’t have baby feet lol)

But I do hope to save up for one more big Omega purchase, it’ll take a few years and who knows what the going rate will be by then but I do have dreams of owning the best vintage Speedmaster I can afford that has a stepped dial, I don’t have a specific year or reference in mind. I won’t spend money on a Speedmaster other than something with true vintage character. If I could only have one I guess it would be the vintage Speedmaster, but there are too many days in the week to own only one Omega 😉

That's a tough call! It'd be hard to part with my Apollo 8, but if forced, I'd probably go with my ST1 and straps. A lotta straps. Probably some bracelets too.

If I could just have one, it would be this one.

Probably can’t have it so I will take this one. I would flick all the bits of muck off it first.

I think so...yes, if I would have only one Omega watch, it would be my fairly recently acquired [ from @Darlinboy ] 105.003-64.

It checks quite a few boxes:

1. Birth year [1964] Speedy for me.
2. First vintage Speedy for me.
3. First DON Speedy for me.
4. First 321 Speedy for me.
5. First straight lug Speedy for me.
6. Came with a correct [and possibly original] Omega 7912 bracelet with correct [and possibly original] Omega #6 end links.
7. Came as a partial kit with correct [and possibly original] Omega inner box/Omega warranty booklet/Omega pad...I really dig that stuff.
8. Came with an Omega Extract of the Archives.
9. Known recent service history from a reputable watchmaker.
10. Came with an additional Thomas Preik display back.

These last three were very important for me...

11. Condition, condition, condition!
12. Very historic and important NASA background...Rest In Peace Lieutenant Colonel Edward H. White II USAF.
13. Came from a well known and well respected member at OF [ @Darlinboy ]...AND we completed the deal at Hooters!

This is one of those special deals where one's envy is completely eclipsed by the joy brought to the new owner. Sincerely hope the dips never has to be exercised!

I'm really torn on this, but I would have to agree with @Canuck that a cal.355 waffle dialed Seamaster is pretty close to wrist Nirvana:

IMPOSSIBLE...

Could be the Best Ever Limited Edition Speedmaster, but could be the CK2998, or vintage Ploprof. However, I have said in the past if I was not a watch guy and I wanted one single watch to fit multiple needs, it would be the blue Aqua Terra.

New OMEGA Seamaster Railmaster
The only currently produced watch in the whole range I like!

Other than that I'd just keep the one I've had for the last 35 years, my Seamaster 145.0029.

Give me this watch, replace it with a DON, and I’ll never ask for anything ever again. I know it’s not modern, but it’d be my choice for my only Omega ever.

Go to Britain. Stop in and visit William. Start throwing 10K bundles of pounds sterling on the table. When he says that's enough, you can pick up the watch and go.

I dont think I could ever do it - always need a Speedie and a Constellation but if hard press it'd be this one - racing dial 145.022-69.

Sorry, no pic, but if I could only have one, it would be my 311.30.42.30.01.005, waited a long time for it, it was my retirement present to myself. Having worked for a NASA subcontractor in the mid-late 60's ( made switch & instrument labels for panels in capsules) the classic "Moonwatch" rings all my bells. Got the bracelet & signature velcro strap, trying for a brown leather/deployant strap. I enjoy winding, wearing & admiring it every day. I was tempted by the "sandwich" but in the end wanted the real deal. If finances permit, I COULD be seduced by one of the simpler Seamasters. I have a couple of Seiko JDM SARBs that I like better than the two Rolex watches I had years ago, I went through a Breitling Navitimer addiction 15 years ago, all-in-all, I'm very happy with my Speedy.

For me it would be my triple date (old pic below...actually that’s pretty obvious, it is a triple date). It’s the first Omega I bought and I still love it and wear it regularly over 11 years later, so it’s getting into sentimental territory. Actually, it’s the the first mechanical watch I ever bought. I did have a mechanical Timex in the 70s, but Santa bought that one 😉

Love my Speedmaster, I really do, but ...

... Constellations: piepans with arrowhead markers, stainless steel or gold, are my favorite Omega watches.

It is the SS Globemaster opaline silver dial. It’s a one watch does everything for me. Thankfully I own it.
