If I designed a new watch...

Very nice! Love the date at 6:00. Also love the slightly trapezoidal date window. Is that intentional?
It's a copy/paste from the original Constellation, but I've left it as it is because I like it too.

I like it too, good work.

My only thing is that, I'd rather prefer a straight strap or bracelet without a cutout.

These sides are there to accommodate the movement, I was worried that 34,5mm was too narrow as a diameter for the case.
Big respect for attempting this. I agree the 3 and 9 sides do need trimming, but I think that needs to be done by giving the inside edges a subtle curvature. At that point, the shape is approaching Golden Ellipse territory, but hey, that's not a bad thing. I'm so glad you're avoiding claws, Roman numerals, and all that jazz.

That looks great, I’d buy it.

Don’t listen to the “delete the date” nonsense, please. The date display is perfect on that rendering.

What’s the deal with people never wanting a date? Aesthetics? Why not just delete those ugly hands too? You can have a nice perfectly clean dial on your “watch”.

It’s called choice.

Really nice design ! Good work. 👍and it might even qualify as a great unisex watch, on which front Omega creations are woefully inadequate.
While the Swiss may be ahead in terms of horology, banking and chocolate, they are incredibly backward in terms of women’s equality.
Job postings in La Chaux de Fonds are still published with a gender indication, and two years ago during a referendum, there was a campaign against opening stores on Sunday. Those posters read, “Stores open on Sunday may be nice for shoppers, but what about the saleswomen”?

Longines and Tudor are the only brands that I’m aware of tgat have created nice unisex 36mm watches based on iconic models.

Both options would be great
That was my point, perhaps it didn’t come across that way, my apologies. This is a nice design that supports multiple variants easily. My interest in a no-date variant lies in the fact that I already have a blue dial Globemaster so the date version would be a bit redundant for me.

I asked for one of these Connie-Square to Santa Claus.

Disappointed: nothing under the tree.

Maybe because it doesn’t exist (not yet ).

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
