If I designed a new watch...

Ok,
I'm not a designer.
I'm not a watchmaker.
And I'm not Daniel Craig 😜

But... what if I have designed a watch? A brand new design inspired by some vintage Omega?

How could I contact someone at Omega's Headquarters?

I don't want anything, I don't have copyright issues and don't want royalties.

Of course, if they will produce something similar, I'd gladly accept one watch as a gift for the inspiration 😎

The Omega sales/marketing folks read these forums... Post it. If it gains traction, Omega will take notice.

And what if Rolex marketing folks are reading these pages, too? 😗

Easy, bring this back updated:
No, it's something different.
It's not a sports watch, there are plenty already.
It's more like... something totally missing in the current lineup. 😉

In that case Rolex could produce it and it would never be available for anyone to buy 🙁

Ok, I'll post it.

But, please, don't judge my photoshop skills.

Use your imagination and think that it is perfectly realized.

Ok?

I rather like that! Would like it even more if you deleted the date function and made it manual wind to allow a thinner mid-case.

Very smart. Presumably a refresh of the 70s era Connies, I approve.

If I'm right about the OP's inspiration, all of that would kind of undo the intent of the re-design.

I dig. It's a good call back to the TV dials of the 70s. I think if Omega were to take it and run with it, they'd make the bezel style match the current ceramic Connies with the claws and engraved numerals.

I was inspired by the 166.0207

And I wanted a Constellation without claws and numerals, in a “less is more” philosophy… but with more personality than a simple circular shape.

I think the illustrations are really good for a first representation of the idea.
But you should check the length of the hands. It gets pretty tight for the second hand at 3 and 9.

No, it’s fine. The dial has been stretched in the north-south direction

That looks nice. zoohannover does have a point about that second hand though.

You all are right!
As I said, I'm not good with photoshop.
I stretched the minutes markers and the tip of the second hand touched one of the markers (the 37th), so the hand is stretched too, but it wasn't my intention. Sorry.

Less is more, delete the second hand as well. Can you also trim the mid-case sides at 3 and 9?

Very nice! Love the date at 6:00. Also love the slightly trapezoidal date window. Is that intentional?

These sides are there to accommodate the movement, I was worried that 34,5mm was too narrow as a diameter for the case.
