Greetings,

As I posted several days ago, I'm on the verge of buying a vintage watch.

Please, help me to confirm based on the photos if the watch is authentic.

Thanks.

Looks legit but the dial is not that good. But if it still floats your boat...

How about this one? The dial isn't great again. Legit?

I am not that deep into pocket watches but the movement seems legit to me (the movement of the other pocket watch seemed to be in better condition) - as you noticed the dial isn`t in best shape.

According to the serialnumber the watch should be more than 100 years old. (somewhen between 1912 - 1916)

This is what the owner says - it has been produced in 1912 😀 Checking if he's right.

You will be able to find an old Omega pocket watch in nice shape for not too much money. There are plenty out there if you are patient. Don’t rush to buy an inferior watch. What’s your budget?

It's sub-$500, as I'm also bringing it to clean and service.

I personally don't care too much about the dial, as long as it works, but I mostly care about mechanism - if it's in working condition and authentic.
