Been on the edge for a while and finally pulled the trigger on a Pre-Owned Yachtmaster 116622 and i love it lots. Not sure why it doesnt get as much love as the subs.
I love YMs, but I've never pulled the trigger on one. They always struck me as a little too "blingy" looking in pics -- not sure if that's true in person (never seen one!)
Not too blingy IMO. This is direct bright sunlight and as "shiney" as it gets. Most times it is a much darker blue and much more subtle.
Did I mention that the YM is very photogenic too ? I swapped the bracelet for a NATO and it totally transforms the watch from dressy to casual! Ps: that's a really high res picture you can use as a wallpaper
Woah I must admit that this has totally flown under the radar for me. Absolutely wonderful on that NATO strap. Something I would wear easily day in, day out.
On the less dressy NATO I see you harbor side fueling your yacht ready for the weekend in Bermuda. Nice pic
I have the same watch. I do find it less bling than my 116613LB as well. I’m wondering what it would look like with all brushed bracelet. My photoshop skills suck so I can’t tell.
Your blue dial YM is a gorgeous watch, the one I´d buy. Love the blue dial and little pop of red! Would be a nice companion to my old 14060, if I could ever find one...!
Agree.... I have the earlier Rolex Yachtmaster 16622 Platinum Dial & Bezel ! killer watch.... and my only sort of modern Rolex ( made after 1990). Good Hunting Bill
