Hello all omegaforums’ members.

I want to share this watch in my collection.

I believe that one of the ultimate aim for omega collectors’ is getting the omega constellation with an original black waffle dial with arrowhead markers.

It was very hard to find original black waffle dial.

I search and gather it together.

Very rare and very hard to find all 18k
(Rose-White-Yellow) from @MSNWatch

Also, the nice examples from members in this forum.
(All come with the steel case)

Now, I can accomplish it too with gold-cap case.

It was Omega constellation ref.2652 with uncommon original black waffle dial, serial number was dating around 1954 and powered by caliber 354.

In my opinion,
- The dial was original with some patina spots
- The font of this dial was correct and original
- The arrowhead markers were original
- The hands were original
- Movement caliber is 354 with serial number dating this watch to 1954

- The crown was correct and original

- The big logo omega buckle was original too.

I would like to ask something: can anyone of the specialists here confirm the different typo (ornate? serifs) e.g. of "Constellation" on my 20.xxx.xxx Connie? You see this e.g. on the s and t.

Maybe yours is 196x period. The OP's is earlier than 1954, so the spelling seems to be different IMO

compared to the shown:

ideally a subject for a separate thread - but Teerapats is a ‘crossed Ts’ dial seen on certain earlier Constellations.

You can’t compare this with ‘standard’ font dials.
(Even the crossed T dials have minor variations that you need to look at closely if you come across one)

Regarding your watch - we would need clearer plus full dial pics to assess it properly. (create a thread)

That is really nice. I don’t really seek those black dials as I see so many altered ones and Tbh they don’t do that much for me but darn you did a great job putting that together. Stay focused and achieve your goal that’s admirable. Can’t I ask how long it took you to put that collection together. They are great looking and just because I’m not into the back dial thing doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate them as i certainly do
