If you are concerned about representing Cartier for posterity, you should probably stick with the classic white dial tank. Both of these, while attractive, are a bit gimmicky IMO.

I agree with what you say but this gimmickry from Cartier is a limited time model that may become a prized possession after some time. I like their play with colours that break the monotonous approach of Tank..
