You’ll get out what you put in here.

A bit of an intro around yourself, the watches history, how you came to own it and what your research has shown so far will generate more responses.

minimal in relation to other examples of this reference because of condition: in/out/front/back/left/right/top/bottom

The watch has condition issues, but the value is not as low as is being suggested IMO. I think that the OP just rubbed some members the wrong way with the tone of the thread.

Totally agree on all fronts.
It’s more valuable as a whole watch than just the gold value - the textured dial, case back and medallion are really nice even though the lugs have seen too much polishing.
Pity the OP isn’t quite as polished as those lugs.

Ok nice.People keep offering me $2000 for the watch do you think that's a good price for the Omega or do they go for more if I restore it

This post continues to be tone-deaf IMO. You will do better if you spend some time just participating on the forum, networking, developing an understanding of vintage watches, and getting a sense of how the community operates.

Sell it, you will put more into it than you can recoup

But do stick around, we all have to start somewhere and people here do warm up after you have been here a while 😁
Well, not Dan, but pretty much everyone else. 😁

Me, I always blame the parents... but that's probably because I'm old.
