I need an opinion on this Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300M 2541.80

I want to buy this watch model and its price is pretty good.
I would be very happy if you could analyze this watch and tell me if it is worth buying.
It seems to me that the bezel has been changed.

You are right, bezel insert is aftermarket/fake.
Whole bracelet and a clasp is fully polished. The clasp and some elements of the links should be brushed.
Personally I wouldn't spend $1.5k on this watch, as including the cost of a restoration - this deal will exceed a market value of a different 254180 in a decent condition.

Sheesh, do these things really sell for that much? I've got one in a drawer somewhere, from when I used to wear quartz watches.

254180 and 226450 are something around 1.5k, 2221.80 even more, lucky you then😉

Sorry, I lied. Mine is not the same, it has the steel bezel with no insert. I don't know the reference, but I'll bet it's not as desirable.
