I made a site listing lug to lug measurements for popular watches!

I spent a long long time looking at watches before buying my first serious watch and only later realized how important is lug to lug distance for a watch, especially for smaller wrists.
But this measurement is kinda difficult to find, only a few watch brands list them. I think this is not fair to the potential buyer and although it is by no means crucial it is worth knowing.

So, I made a list of lug to lug dimensions for popular watches on a dedicated website LugtoLug. I listed 150+ so far and new ones are being added.

I am only a hobbyist and not a developer, but please check it out, let me know what you think!

Great idea. This could become a very useful resource for watch fans. May I make a suggestion to make your list even better: Please include the reference numbers with names of the watches. Some watch models have gone through several generations already and it would be nice to know which one you're referring to.
Keep up the good work! 馃憤

That will be a great resource. The fact that everyone can participate by adding dimensions from their own collection is really good. Can a photo or link to a web photo be added as well?
On a further look it looks like it can be done in the notes section.
Good stuff.

Didn't have a ruler big enough....
But in all seriousness this is really cool! The website, not the Invicta.

Thanks to everyone for the comments, really useful!
I added a column listing reference numbers for each watch, hopefully it will make it more useful for everyone.

This is great! I never realized how much log to lug matters.

I learned this when I got a Longines Legend Diver with those ape-hanger lugs. I have others at same 42mm case that are as much as 6mm shorter lug to lug! Yikes

To me its now more important than any other size spec.

You can use it as your Captain Australia shield.
