BTW, I can't understand if the gold moon and the stars are applied or painted.

If you're looking for a beautiful DATE, may I suggest the JLC Master Control. I was fortunate in in finding one made especially for their Asian market. The diameter is only 37 mm vs. 39 mm for N.A. The dial design is rather different and to me, more appealing. My model was made in 2011 but had all necessary boxes, warranty certificates, hang tag, manuals. Have smaller sized wrist and this fits and wears comfortably.

My (new) Master Calendar......just picked this one a few weeks ago making this my second watch purchase this year. I had to move a couple of pieces in the collection to fund it. Sorry for the poor photo.

Yes it is......I looked at the meteorite dial but couldn't justify the additional 2K, plus the legibility of the dial IMO was greatly compromised.

Nice one - congrats!

Thanks- had my eye on this one for a awhile........so time to move forward- life is now entering the 2nd half (of the football game) (assuming I'll make it to my dad's passing age of 87.)

"an exhibition of the manual-wind movement"

lol... its a glass floor xD

thats so uncool, especially the fact that they sell you 5 grms of glass but charge you GOLD for it ... zenith also does this with the golden elite ...

cutting corners yet charging you the equivalent of a car ...
