I am very intrigued by the new Grand Reverso Calendar. And unlike the Master Calendar, I would prefer the steel (which has stunning contrast between the dial and hands).

    photos from JLC's website:

They're incredibly appealing, but do wear rather big.

What's on the flipside of these?

The flip side is an exhibition of the manual-wind movement.

Yes, I'd definitely have to see this in person to gauge the size.

A display back, apparently. Not bad, but not half as cool as the display back of the now-discontinued Reverso Sun-Moon with the 8 day PR.

youI you need to wear it to see how it feels. I really wanted a Reverso several years ago but didn't like how they felt on the wrist. So a tough one to buy bling.

They are super cool in person and if you like to fidget, this is the watch for you.

While beautiful it's silly idea to make annual calendar manual. It can't be kept on a winder.

They're not that hard to set. It isn't a major issue like if it was a perpetual calendar.

Not too bad Ash. It'll probably take another week or two for the bones to stop hurting & the physio will probably take another 6-8 weeks. So, there's a little way left to go but I'm starting to get back to more of my normal routine now.

Once again wrong - can be had for about $2500. Not cheap, but certainly not as much as the JLC pictured, even the SS version let alone the gold one - not by a long shot.

Calling it silly is, well, silly!

    Cheers, Al

    Have you bought it?
I am asking because I tried it in boutique and was greatly impressed.

No, these are too big for my wrist. I did try the steel version on at Tourneau.
