My favourite stretch band so far. Does pull a few hairs though... but extremely comfortable when its not pulling hairs. Rolex 6636 band.

Not bored with it yet?

😉
Ha ha - I offered it to you !
But you said it was the wrong size for your requirements
I've never worn the Connie on the bracelet
Had it removed and cleaned when I had the watch serviced and when I got it back put it on a leather strap
(the 'marks' are just reflections from the box)

It's entirely possible (99.99%) that Speidel supplied them to Longines.
Fixo - Flex, another famous stretchy band company supplied a variety of bracelets for Omegas.

I just checked the band and it is in fact a Fixo-Flex and not a Speidel. Nice to know that it may be original to the watch.

Here's an old stretch band. And it's a real hair puller. Basically just a flattened out spring. I am pretty sure it is from the early 40's, the watch I found it on was last worn in August 1944.

I’m looking for an authentic omega stretch steel band that would fit a 613 caliber Geneva from the early 60s. Not a very collectable watch but it was my father in laws that he bought before he came over from Italy. It was in horrendous condition and looked like a cheap fake to me. I told him to throw it away. I sent it to Omega when I sent my Seamaster for a tune up and sure enough it was authentic. I decided to get it it fully restored for him. It came out out great and gave it to him with an alligator strap from omega. I guess it originally had a stretch band so now I’m in the market for one. Let me know if anyone has one for sale or point me in the right direction on line to scoop one up.
Thanks

Most comfortable expansion band I've ever worn, Admiral USA.
The inner surfaces are very slightly convex so the edges don't dig into the flesh.
Lucked out in that it fits perfectly as is, since I have no idea how one could be adjusted.
I put it on My HMT SONA till I can get the Elgin serviced. At 17.5mm it is a little loose in the SONA's 18mm lugs but not really noticeable to the wearer.

Most useful expansion band easily adjustable for perfect fit for any lug to lug width. I've used it on more than one watch. Nicely tapered comfortable and stable.

I'm not sure but I believe there are soft leather sheathed versions of this band.
Ran across a few on Ebay but the leather was a bit the worse for age. Not sure what exactly was underneath.

I think these flattened spring bands date back to the 20's at least. I've only seen them on military issue watches so far.
