At the risk of disturbing the forum karma, I will vocalize what many here are thinking: while she has yet to respond to, or even like one of my posts, it is incredibly cool to have an attractive, intelligent woman chiming in on the forum. And she is passionate about Omega watches too? Is she for real? Could she be every guy's conception of the perfect woman?

Without doubt this Forum is a veritable desert with respect to the female gender. As in all deserts, the rare flower is a genuine delight. Treat them with utmost care and respect

 

You guys know how that Pirates of the Caribbean movie began, with the crew of a ship discover a sunken ship, victims, objects floating and then go on about being bad luck to have a woman on board ?

Well I have a bad feeling about this.

 

I welcome a female watch enthusiast. As the lucky spouse of a woman who loves catamaran sailing I'm the envy of my sailing club....but she Does not get the watch thing.

True in life, and especially true on the Internet. I was initially very skeptical about some newer Forum participants, but over time they have proven (from my limited perspective, anyway) to be who they say they are. That was a bit of a learning experience for me.

 

This forum is whackier and more random than the gaming teenager riddled forums are. With the exception that people have better language skills here. I like it!

Once again I fail to understand why we're raising questions. Or have I missed some particularly important development lately? Many corners of the internet are needlessly hostile to females and I'd hate to think ours is, too.

 

Why should we be limited to just one? Can I have both?

 

We still don't know of any female... But we are replying like a bunch of idiots...We're making the dough bigger and bigger...

 

Probably because some people find it hard to believe that beautiful women are knowledgeable about watches/horology? I honestly have no idea, but I still get my popcorn ready every time they're in the discussion.
