My neighbour roasts a pig every year for a large gathering - didn't happen this year due to Covid-19. The problem with roasted pig, despite being quite good, is that pretty much the whole pig tastes the same when you are done. So as much as I like it, I still want bacon as bacon thanks... 😀

We are having large birthday gathering so it was this or lamb. Im more of a roasted lamb guy 😀

Because of this thread it's been a bacon buttie weekend for me and mine, as per usual the teenagers didn't want any grilled tomatoes...

My mom used to take a hot dog, slit it lenghwise, lay a strip of cheese in it, and then wrap with bacon one end to the other. Then we would grill or broil them. I took pictures of it once, I have them on my Facebook page, I can share if you want to see.

You need wood toothpicks to anchor the ends of the bacon so it doesn't fall off as you turn the hot dogs.
