If you've ever previously visited the thread, it'll always take you to the latest unread post, otherwise it should be the first post. That's what I seem to be getting with testing FF here.

Are you definitely hitting the main thread title section of the item? Towards the right side, on the last post (username + time) will always take you to the end.

It should all be the same, as the markup and code behind it were left unchanged from ΩF2.0.

Hi Trev
Ok to check myself again before reponding-
I clicked the WRUW Main thread title(again, I always use "Latest" to go
to what I want to read.) I had not visited that thread since yesterday.
The click took me to the Last post tonight. I am on FF 22.0 here
at home. FF27.0 at work which I originally posted the problem this morning.
Both same behavior

So, you were expecting it to take you to the last unread post, but instead end up on the last post in the thread? Is that correct?

Weird thing is-
When I hover over title, a popup even says "Go to last message"

exactly. Is that not how it behaved before the
upgrade?

I'm also getting this inconsistent behaviour on Chrome too.

The title should go to the last unread post, which in some cases is also the last post. The second column with the avatar/username/date will always go to the last post regardless. We haven't changed any of the underlying markup or logic from ΩF2 though.

At least on my end, I can't see it doing anything different than it always has. :|

Doesn't work that way on FF22.0 or FF27.0 on 2 different machines.
I Never click on the right side and I know that takes you to that person's post.(which is the latest)

Also worth noting that we're not testing anything on older versions of FF. I think they're up to v33 now. 27 should be ok.

I'll see about setting up FF27 to test with, since I can't duplicate it in the current versions.

Trev
I just was experimenting some more.
I clicked on What did you buy today.
I hadn't visited that thread since at least yesterday.
The click brought me to a post from yesterday. NOT
to John Steed's last post tonight.
So, as Gavin stated, maybe I should qualify this
bug note as Inconsistent results when clicking
threads.

On FF27 I'm seeing "go to last message" for every thread, which is of course wrong. On FF33 it's showing the correct behavior and linking to the last unread post.

I hate the "Chroming" of FF that took place after 27.0
I hope I don't have to switch browsers🙁

I'll see if I can figure out why FF27 is behaving strangely.

You'll need to upgrade eventually though, only a matter of time before FF27 becomes a security risk 😉
