I forgot to wear a watch today, and boy I feel naked.

Personally I agree. I have worn a watch since my teens and now, like you feel that I have left something behind.
Looking at a phone has no appeal. Much rather see a real watch on my wrist.

I put a watch on after breakfast, & take it off at bed time.
When a teenager, I read a novel in which the hero took off his watch before going to bed, so as not to scratch his girlfriend. I thought that a good idea, & have never worn a watch in bed unless alone! 😎 I'm such a thoughtful guy. The habits we drag through our lives from childhood would make an interesting thread, perhaps.

I think majority of watch collectors will feel this way.😉
Personally, i would always strap on a watch whenever i leave the house and always remove them the moment i'm back home
I put my G-Shock on when going to work (in the motor trade) and rotate them when I get home with my Speedmaster ‘57 and SMPc 300M to keep them ticking over. On non-work days and weekends I rotate my two Omegas.

Me too. I’ve my Explorer Mk1 only for the night. It’s relatively light weight and lumes are good enough till my alarm goes off in the morning.

I wear one watch for my office and Explorer at home in the evening every day. My day watch keeps changing but night Watch normally remain same.
This post made my day.😁
The Rolex Explorer, worlds greatest bedroom watch.::facepalm1:: They could rename it the Pyjama.
I'd love to see some glossy magazine adverts.

I've never forgotten to wear my watch whenever I go out. To me, it's like forgetting to wear a pair of shoes or slippers...haha.. Never happens.

I often fall asleep with my Ti Planet Ocean 9300 still on my wrist, but sometimes if I think about it I'll wear my lightweight Luminox colormark diver with tritium gas tubes for lume. I can totally see having a night watch, while rotating the rest during the daytime.

I really feel naked without a watch, and usually have a nice chronograph on my left wrist while I track my activity with an Apple Watch on my right wrist. If either one is missing it just feels weird to me.

After the birth of my first, bought a watch with good lume.

Needed to check surreptitiously what time it was during the night that either I or my wife had to get up to feed, wind or change the crying baby ........ and without waking my wife when it was my turn.

Nearly 40 years on I wake up for other reasons, and still try to check the time without disturbing the boss.

So, I’m a 24 hour watch wearer and can’t imagine not wearing one.
