I finally added a Speedmaster Mark ii

After many missed opportunities over the years while chasing other Omega watches, the time has come to add a Mark ll to the collection.

This completes a Trio of Moonwatch, Mark ll and Mark lll.

Who knows, maybe Mark 4, 4.5 and 5 might follow……

Nice trio! The hand set on the Mark ii is an incorrect replacement off of a Speedmaster Mark iii which is why is has that oddly thick hour hand. You can get a modern replacement set correct for the Mark ii pretty cheaply and have a watchmaker knock the lume out, replacing it with color matched tritium substitute
