Blimey mate!... no wonder Crocodile Dundee 'fakked off' to New York!馃槻

(Sorry chaps but we seem to have taken this thread on Horological relaxation to a study in terror??? Sorry about that!馃槦)

Cleaning my drums is relaxing for me.
When I put them back on the rack, everyone gets nervous because they know a sound-check will be coming. 馃榿

Polishing can be relaxing and rewarding. Here's a 1930's Rubberset shaving brush before and after.

Amazingly enough, polishing even improved the knot. 馃榿

Big fan of kayak fishing.

Isn't that where you attach a hook to the back of a kayaker and wait to see if he gets eaten by a shark?

I just stare at my collection of straps and fantasize about strap combinations for already mounted watches. Then I do nothing. 馃槜

... doing this?

It's not a total strip down but the gunked up watch I bought yesterday will now have a shiny, gouge-free, tight bracelet to go on once its been serviced ... and I genuinely find this sort of quiet, almost mind-less, gentle cleaning incredibly relaxing.

If this is wrong I don't wanna be right.
