Done. My bad about that. Curious why so little discussion about the chronostop?

Killer.....Love it - I have similar taste! Bracelet is what brings it together imo. Congrats on the newest addition!

Thanks. It's actually an aftermarket bracelet. It came up at the right price on eBay so I jumped.

A lot of members own, or have owned Geneve Chronostops.

Cool little watches - they can be picked up very reasonably, but service isn't cheap, and it's easy to spend the same amount on a service as what you paid for the watch.

Not sure how much discussion you'd expect... or what on?

I was just saying that I didn't see a lot of threads dealing with chronostops that's all. For what they cost they are really cool watches that can be enjoyed everyday especially with the parts availability. Service isn't cheap for most fairly complicated watches; ask me how I know. 😀

Because the massive amount of Speedmaster threads drown out everything else.

Chronostops are nifty, anybody have an original SS bracelet ? Not around much in good shape.

I've two, but only one bracelet.

I have the driver version as well as a jumbo chronostop and I am looking out for a deville chronostop fontana version. I find them very comfortable to wear so they both get a lot of wrist time. (Well, not now because I only brought a Swatch watch with me to Malawi. I was advised that bringing anything that looks valuable would probably end up on the wrist of a traffic policeman sooner rather than later. Not sure if that is true, but I have had to pay a few bribes to officials for various things)

With the way gold prices have been dropping, it's probably good you are finally going over to stainless steel 😁

Actually trying to jump into platinum. 😀. Coins and bars for now; soon enough I'll find a good priced platinum watch. 😀
