Worth every penny, and a better set than the Phillips example, for sure!

And I got it for 340 usd in 2003 😎

Whew, lots of money for pimped-up tool watches in the auction... 🤮

I much prefer the Seamaster of the OP.

Some people view these watches as tools of investment. Judging by the condition of the one at Phillips with the stickers still affixed, I'm led to believe that was the exact idea the consignor had in mind. I was offered a similar white gold one for $75,000usd brand new with box and papers. It sat in my safe for 3 years before I sold it for $140,000usd. Since then I've been thanking my lucky stars for people who fancy "pimped-up tool watches". Their loss is my gain... Because I'm that much closer to a 2915.

There's no accounting for taste. Someone paid north of $22 grand for this thing:

Try to picture the outfit one would wear with this. Yuck.

I actually like this one (or the other Stella dials), funky, sure, but on an entirely different level from the bedazzled ones.

My exact sentiments. I think it's pretty neat, without the bracelet, on a leather strap. One person's meat is another's poison!

DON DON
Ebay on the Seamaster and maybe $400 - $500. Has a rusty sweep hand.

Someone paid for the box and back sticker

DON

You must be joking. Would not happen
