I have bracelet and two rubber straps, and change them as the mood strikes.

I like it better on the rubber strap. I think it looks more sporty that way. But, you can't really go wrong.

I bought the White on bracelet, with the intention of ditching it for an OEM rubber strap, as there is quite a bit of negative feedback re the bracelet. I was pleasantly surprised by the bracelet which is super comfortable and been happy to just leave it as is. I've been thinking for a little while about getting the black dial model and will likely get that on the rubber strap, so that I can swap the bracelet and strap between the two......looking at the photo's above, the black dial looks stunning with either option.

I keep trying to like natos but they don't last... I had one rubber one that was just ok. Leather is just OK, shark and milanese look unfinished with straight ends.

I end up with the OEM bracelet almost every time.

I've no idea why but I simply can't stand rubber straps that go right up to the case!
Not sure how a Tropic strap would look.

Of the two you show us, it's definitely the SS bracelet for me.

For me I think I like the strap for an everyday option, but If im dressing up, even to the slightest degree, than I would rock that bracelet! Great watch!

For me.... on the wrist, not rubber, straight end bracelet would be second choice.
Gimme curved lug ends, gimme leather, gimme batons and zulus.

Rubber works in the ‘T shirt, casual, summer look. I prefer it up to the case as it looks part of the watch. Anything with straight ends...I’m not sure....love a shark mesh but I agree they just look an afterthought.

I’ve personally struggled to find straps that I like for the SMP. Tried a few and nothing seemed to look quite right. Eventually I put it on an Uncle Seiko flat link bracelet. It doesn’t feel as heavy as the OEM bracelet and I like that it tapers.

Great pic. Can you send a couple more please? Of the clasp. Just been looking at this bracelet but couldn't decide. You may just influence my decision.

Did you find it easy enough adjusting the end links for the lugs and how much is it scratching the case? Because the OEM bracelet doesn't sit on the lugs.

Of course! Here you go! I’d not done anything like it before, but it was relatively straightforward to adjust the end links. I took a small pair of pliers and gently moved the mounting prongs further away from the end link until it sat properly on the case. Small movement, check, repeat.

Great, many thanks for that.

I have the blue version and wearing on a blue NATO. On yours, the rubber strap is what I’d rock, or a black NATO. I just hate the bracelet.
