How often do you see ANY nice watch in the wild?

So it seems that spotting a VC is extremely hard? I personally have only seen one time on a first class passenger.

When I have the opportunity to fly business class internationally for work, that is when I see the most nice watches.

I think VC in the US is rare, yes. I hope to change that some day when I win the lottery and buy a stainless steel 222.

Sub at a baseball game.
But I see enough black bezel subs that it’s not so remarkable anymore. Like others who’ve said they are ubiquitous standard kit for bankers in NYC, I’m in a similar big city setting.

Mentioned in my intro post that it's not uncommon to spot Speedies where I work. In particular, during the run-up to a launch, people who normally wear smart watches will swap out for their moon watches.

Today at the pharmacy, the pharmacist was wearing a Rolex GMT Batman. I told her she had a great watch and she said thank you. Then I had to go, because you know how it gets if you hold up the pharmacy line on a Sunday.

Was wearing my Snoopy 50 yesterday at Paris Baguette when a younger guy walked in and sat down with some of his friends next to my table wearing the green Seamaster. He said "I like your Snoopy" and I replied "Nice Seamaster"

Met a German sailor when I was in Penzance, I was tied up alongside him, I noticed he was wearing a Speedmaster Mk II , I complemented him on it, he was delighted, said no one ever noticed it. He inherited it from his father and that made it special to him that I noticed, we had a long chat, a lovely interaction 😁
