To many since I tend to buy semi unknown vintage watches instead of narrowing it down to specific brands 😁

I bought one last night at 1 am, for sure a project. But the style appealed to me.

The roman numerals and the minute hand is wonderful but that case is one of the worst I have seen 😁
Not much chrome plating left on there!

Yeah is like that all over, like it was stripped or never plated. But the price was right, and the look is awesome at least to me.

Off the top of my head I have 1 Omega, 5 Eternas, 5 Hamiltons, 3 Illinois, 2 Longines, 1 Zenith, 5 Elgins, 3 Bulovas, 2 Walthams. I might be off on the numbers of each brand, the only modern watch is one of my Eternas.

got the G, K and Y covered. 😀 i like the Xeric suggestion above. Might pursue it.

that leaves me with Q. Easy to get a Q&Q but nothing strikes me. No rush.

is “No Brand Name” an actual watch brand? It’s an actual brand for grocery items. I have seen.

Found an interesting Q brand. Quinting. Two models interesting - Qlock and Mysterious.

I think they were "generic" models sold to jewellers in Australia who would either put their own dial on, or simply put them in their own box.

Back in the day (1940s and 50s) some people just wanted a watch that told time and weren't fussed on a brand. The movements are all quality 15 or 17 jewel Swiss made.

This is one of them
