I have one, the Explorer II. I'm still trying to bond with it, but it's not looking promising. I may try vintage in the future if my piggy bank allows for it. Perhaps an Explorer Freccione, with it's smaller case size may be easier to fall in love with.

As you can see, I really like stick dials. To me, a dial sans date and numerals has such a clean, uncluttered look. The Oyster Perpetual is a great watch, and so many colors to choose from.
