How many modern Speedmasters produced?

Judging by the sheer number of Speedmasters that exist on Instagram, you'd think that everybody and their mother has one. Obviously this isn't the case. As we all know the watch collecting is pretty insular, and the tiniest bit of excitement about a watch gets tossed into a feedback loop in this community. But it does seem as if we've reached the point where some WIS are "bored to tears" from seeing a Speedy for the 800th time (looking at you, Hodinkee comments section). Which raises the question:

How many Speedmaster Pros have been made to date? I'm referring specifically to the modern iteration (luminova dial, 1861 mvt, hesalite or sapphire glass.) My guess is that it's near impossible to find this number if you also tried to tally all it's LEs, and regional exclusives.
