I HAVE A SIX YEAR OLD AQUA TERRA AND LOVE IT BUT CONFUSSED ABOUT WHAT I SHOULD EXPECT FORM THE ILLUMINATION OF THE HANDS AND NUMBERS. IF I SHINE A TORCH ON IT FOR A WHILE AND THEN GO INTO A DARK ROOM IT IS AMAZING BUT ORDINARILY IN DAYLIGHT THE ILUMINATION IN THE SAME DARK ROOM IS ALMOST NON EXISTANT - WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT - CAN I GET THE ILUMINATION RECHARGED ?
I DO NOT BELIEVE YOU CAN 'RECHARGE' SUPER LUMINOVA. SORRY. (IT ALSO DOESN'T REALLY LOSE IT'S ILLUMINATION ABILITIES -- I'M GUESSING IT HAS BEEN THE SAME THE WHOLE 6 YEARS)
yes you are spot on it has not really changed - i guess i am raising it now because i like it more now with my wear and taer on than i did at the start when i was almost scared of wearing it and if i could make it perfect (for me) it would be to "glow better" in the dark so would be happy to do what i can to make that happen if possible...
You have to get it under a bright light for a good 20 minutes. Also be aware that people vary in their abilities to see in the dark. You might have less ability than average. I had a college roommate who couldn't find his bed with the curtains wide open and city lights shining in, whereas I could have read a book.
Here's my AT 41.5mm 8500 after thirty seconds with a bright torch. it fades after ten minutes or appears to given the hand set dosen't have a lot of surface to lume. If you want LUME try these: The AT is a nice watch regardless. have fun kfw
