Dial appears to be refinished. Case is heavily polished. Wouldn’t be surprised if the movement is in rough shape.

Just saw this on CWC. Yes bad redial. Overpolished case. Wrong crown. Suspect sweep second hand...

I was just looking at this, as it popped up in an alert, and was wondering if I should post it as an obvious example of a redialled black Connie.
So, well done @Xeer for posting.

to quote the seller “one of the most beautiful dials I’ve ever seen”
- either they haven’t seen many dials or they need new spectacles.

There are so many things wrong but even without looking at the script or the atrocious minute markers, the ‘orange-peel’ paint finish is the most obvious tell.

$2,400 for a heavily polished, redialled dogleg?
Just goes to show, not all Canadians are stand up guys. 😒

When you see RE on a dog leg (chronometer text) stop looking.

it was 90% likely to be a redial on the dial colour alone
