How do we feel about posting notices about meet-ups?

Hello Mods et all

Other than Speedy Tuesday meeting news, I haven't seen postings here advertising in-person watch meetups - perhaps this in itself should tell me all I need to know. However, I wanted to check the temperature on the appropriateness of members posting about upcoming in-person watch meetups.

I suspect GTGs are not fully publicized due to security concerns. I think DMs/ emails may be used to provide location info.

Good point. Thx. It is always god to remember that this is a public forum, often with 3x as many guests as members viewing at any time
