You need to press down on this little button while simultaneously pulling the stem/crown out.

It would be maybe worth mentioning that you should pull the crown out all the way, before pushing the button and releasing it. Otherwise you'll have problems getting it back in.

Also, it does not need a lot of pressure. It’s a delicate mechanism.
