I visited Füssen about 8 years back (wow time flies) after attending Oktoberfest in München. Beautiful place. I didn’t know about their history of clock making. We visited the nearby Castle Neuschwanstein which is just amazing. For those who don’t know, it was built on top of a hill at the base of the alps in the late 19th century by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. After about two decades of construction he barely lived in it before his mysterious death.

Not my picture.

Lovely place - not so big inside. Also let’s not forget Chitty Chitty bang- bang…

I was in the Musée d’Orsay on a day off from a work trip buying wine… loved the museum, was spellbound seeing Van Goghs in the flesh for the first time… but my favourite image was of the clock face window- tickled by the notion of being inside the watch- just one cog in the collective movement within

I have a 1962 Impala Super sport. It is misspelled because I could not get the username one another site. I do a lot of motorcycle touring and that is me wearing my helmet. ATGATT!

Real face real name, didn't take that much work.
I hope you are not working towards anything diabolical. I also share a fondness for gold watches. 😉

A pretty heavley modified BMW G650GS with an extra tank. 500 mile range is worth the smaller motor.

Hey Y’all, so good to read all these posts, and gain some insight into the incredible cast of characters which comprise OF! Thanks for sharing! My username represents my initials, MWW. It also recognizes the importance of music in my life; not a particular genre, but beats and bass are part of the soundtrack and fabric of my days/nights.

The avatar picture is from a neighbors house; a monarch butterfly had just emerged, and was checking shit out next to its unhatched sibling. I had never witnessed this magic in person, and the whole thing was perfect. I’m a rural primary care provider, and love the notion that people can make incredible changes in their lives (mad props @SC1!). It’s also super cool to recognize that most folks are typically doing the best they can, and by showing up they’ve won.

Quite a nippy performer for cubic inch displacement. A good combination.

I build vintage Vespa's and live in key west. there are alot of scooters around here, but very few Vespa's as its an island surrounded by saltwater and Vespa's are made of steel and don't last long
isle of bones roughly translated to key west, or Cayo Hueso. Spanish settlers originally called Key West Cayo Hueso, which translates to bone island, referring to the bones of the Calusa Indians who had once lived in the Florida Keys. English speakers mistook Cayo Hueso, thinking it sounded like Key West and the name stuck.
so did mine.
the avatar, someone asked in a discussion on OF why so many cats in the avatar, so i made one to follow the trend... i change it up often anyways.

I am Vinz, Vinz Clortho, Keymaster of Gozer...Volguus Zildrohoar, Lord of the Seboullia. And who is Gozar you ask?

Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torb! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

Btw, are you the Gatekeeper?
