We have 2 Bengals as well. These two came to us in late April, had to travel, handed off in stages, from North Carolina to Virginia, to Pennsylvania, to Massachusetts and there we finally picked them up and brought them home to Maine with us. They were heavily traumatized, as their previous owner was dying of cancer and had to give them up. They are settling in, but Safari, as we call her is still a bit skittish and unsure about being picked up and held. You can see the intelligence and beauty though. We had previously had a queen Bengal for 13 years. Her name was India and she was a wicked good cat. She made it impossible not to adopt these two.
Safari playing with my daughter.
Her mother, Sahara. Who has come to be at ease much more quickly.
