    See, that I have no problem with, this one loves it. It's the exhaust gases that make you have to get up, go outside, burn the house down and rebuild, that I have the problem with.

    She's scared of the garbage truck and spends most of the "garbage day" on the stairs.

    I completely appreciate this. My colleague who has four legged mud magnets put me on to some pretty decent looking dog towel/ coat blanket things she raves about. Will dig out the link if you're in the UK.

    <Edit>
    this is the link, the dogs look daft but they work

    My little Mister tragically passed away yesterday. He was only eight and had spent Friday evening racing around the house and playing - his normal mischievous self. I found him in the morning seemingly still asleep :(. Gutted.
    Panda, his black and white partner in crime, is bereft.

    Sorry to hear that. Never easy to lose a pet that has become a family member.

    Sorry for your loss. But when the time comes, then quietly in your sleep after a day of fun is a pretty good way to go.

    Honestly I do think spring has been cancelled in the Upper Midwest! Looks the same out your way. I do miss / not miss the muddy paws ... the garden is a quagmire right now.

    I have almost given up on what at one time was our lawn, the boys love to chase each other and they have a preferred route and as a result the grass looks more like 'Aintree Race Course' Not so bad on the straight but the corners ::facepalm2::

    Really thought of trying to stop them but they are so happy ::love::
