These are my sister's dogs, from top to bottom: Zoey, Jaxson, Gus, and Dakota - otherwise known as The Bumpus Hounds. We dog sit for them on occasion. Zoey is a barker and catches fabric frisbees like a pro, Dakota grumbles and chases anything you throw, Gus uses his paws and usually out duels Dakota at fetching tennis balls, and Jaxson runs away like a whimp and then barks at you from a safe distance.

··Color Commentator for the Hyperbole.I know this is a bit morbid but Banzai came home last Friday. We are going to enjoy sailing season and make a decision in the fall. We are going through dog withdrawal. Don’t miss the nursing home care or his suffering but we do miss him. Will place him next to his sister on the piano.

·One of our pack members no longer with us. Sweet old Connie loved nothing better than rolling in the Autumn leaves, even (especially?) when fresh from the groomers - it brought out her inner puppy every time.

Well, of course! You just negated months of work for her to get the perfect aroma so she had to start working on it again immediately. Dogs don't like smelling all foo-foo-ey. It isn't natural. 😉
