Empty clock case. I pull the chains on this old clock every Sunday night. This time it stopped and once I got it working the chime was way off. Chimes for 6 or 7 minutes non stop.

Strike stopped working.

I de-activated the chime and I swear the cat is behaving differently. When she hears the 5 am strikes it’s usually impossible for me to stay in bed. Now she stays in bed but lies on top on me.

And the clock is the heartbeat of our old house so it’s off for repairs.

Neo left us yesterday... 2 months short of his 14 years contract I had with him! I will be sending the early departure fees !!

He leaves a huge emptiness, but with the joy of having had a great long life , full of adventures. He was deeply loved and will be missed
