Hah! i thought your Maine Coon was a dog. That is a big cat!

We have Coyotes in town. They are skittish, very clever, and have taken people's cats and small dogs (from talking to former pet owners.) I've seen three, but always quickly and crossing a street between green areas.

This about the foxes in London is complete news to me. I'd rather have foxes than rats.

Yes, he's a huge lump! I'm guessing you're in North America, those coyotes are gorgeous, they look so much like mini wolves, especially in their winter coats..
But I had no idea that they predate on people's cats and dogs😲 That's pretty unnerving, I would guess human babies wouldn't be entirely safe either.. Yes I'd much rather have foxes than rats, we do get the odd rat brought to us by Cooper the little cat, he does bring loads of mice though, but the Main Coon on the other hand, is such a massive heavy lump, and has absolutely no hunting skills whatsoever, everything sees him coming from a mile off 😁

I never see “clean” foxes, they always look raggedy and rough in my area. They are nice looking beasts of the field when groomed. I used to see them more frequently as we have a lot of wild rabbits but it seems the bobcats took over the patrol. I could just be missing them.

I’m glad the joke was taken. Some poor guy on Reddit posted a picture of his two new kittens and was concerned how much they lick each other he feared he might have got gay cats. Besides the homophobia thing it was pretty funny. I mean how can an adult human not know cats of all sexes groom each other. And even if Rocky raccoon and Maharishi Yogi are gay I accept them as they are

Yes, they seem to keep themselves looking pristine for the most part, very occasionally they get sarcopic mange which is potentially deadly, if there's an outbreak in the area we get them medicine from the Fox charity that we disguise in a bit of food, and it usually works a treat..👍

It has been a while I haven't posted pictures of the baby. He is still going strong towards his 12 years. His daily mood is still up, slower in general in his daily walks.

He recently had a ulcer in his left eye, typical for the breed. So, a couple of visits to the ophthalmologist and it is now under control.

I don’t know if I’m reading too much into this but Rocky came home without the blue collar he’s had on since I rescued him. It’s a breakaway for safety. Two days it was gone. Yesterday he came home carrying it in his mouth, dropped it at my feet and waited for me to put it on for him. Things that make u say hmm.

Good fight tonight Maharishi dodged a left that could have put him down in round 24

This is Kapu 🥰 He’s not mine, but oh how I wish he was. My wife and I went to Kaua`i for our 10 year anniversary and on one of the days, we went to the local humane society to take a pup out on a “field trip” for the day, and we got Kapu 😀. He’s 8, incredibly loving, chill, and people/pet friendly. From 10am to 5pm, he went everywhere with us from scenic hikes, the beach, to chill back at our place. It was really hard to return him at the end of the day, but we got a really happy surprise that made it so much easier- upon arrival back at the shelter, there was a local family ready to adopt and take him home. We loved being able to spend the day with him 🥰

what?! You can do this at every humane society? Did you contact them beforehand to arrange it?
