Old boy today.. looks like he does have a chronic condition but he is classed a geriatric, so life will throw a few curve balls a we get older. It is a bit of a seesaw balance with meds and diet now. We are enjoying good days when like today when we can and grabbing some UK bank holiday sunshine. He is extra attentive and close to us now despite the necessary interventions and seems to be doing better with the Molverine. Hopefully we continue to see him stabilise. He is a strong character.

I’m putting in a new walkway. Much bigger project than I anticipated when starting. Especially with my ear and shoulder falling off but I noticed the brothers left their mark in on cement.
It's a lovely record to have..
They need to be a bit careful as depending on the composition of the cement, it can cause them chemical burns..

Ya I recently had a similar issue with paint they don’t like me cleaning their paws but I didn’t want them ingesting it. Luckily after both incidents neither of the knuckleheads is worse for the wear but I’m starting the top platform now I’m trying to keep them both in but my wife forgets and they blow by her when she opens a door.

I had to find a new vet as unfortunately the vet down the street from me closed. There is a veterinarian that only treats cats about 15 miles from me. The vet I have has been practicing animal medicine for 30 years. Since I brought the brothers together I found it interesting that she was able to look at certain things and rule them out if they were limited to one cat.
If it were serious they would both have it since they are always together. I imagine the same thing can be used on dogs but tbh this is the first vet who allowed me to bring two cats together, usually I have to make different appointments. It works out well as I can bring them Monday morning which is my late day and still make work on time. I thought they might be upset I had the brothers Grimm in one car carrier but it’s actually made for medium sized dogs. So it all went well and it appears it’s of benefit to bring two pets together if possible. Sorry should have included pics, Rocky raccoon

How you doin giving him pills? My vet taught me a few tricks starting with everytime they let you look in their mouth give them a treat and praise them. Maharishi don’t care I can inspect all his teeth but Rocky raccoon who is a very vocal cat develops lock jaw when I try to inspect his teeth.

Probably a fight…
Ya good old hairy the cat came home with a serious would on her chest. She was such a furball I didn’t notice it for a couple days. My wife then tells me hairy was chasing a Bob cat of our property. Hairy was very lucky Bob cats will run from most fights as they save their energy for when they are hungry.

They hide the pain until they can’t anymore (she couldnt walk due to infection). But emotions cant be hid…

Gee he looks mighty miserable in that get up. Glad you caught it though hope it’s a quick recovery. That looks like about 975 to me unless he needed anesthesia then you broke the 1k mark.

Today, I took Max on my traditional Memorial Day weekend hike to my backyard mountain, "Bear Peak." Only 3 miles to the top, but 3,000 feet of vertical. He enjoyed himself, and made a lot of friends, but he was pretty worn out by the end.
