Might as well put this here. We had therapy animals at work today. Nice of the people to bring them out even in the bad weather. I was able to wash and dry all the doggos jackets as they got wet and dirty on the way in. It’s really cool seeing everyone smile as the trained dogs do their thing. All volunteers who spend thousands getting their dogs certified. Not surprisingly no cats in the group

I had to go into the attic this eve. Rocky raccoon and Maharishi Yogi were able to navigate the steep pull down stairs/ladder. However coming down is not as easy and I had to mount a rescue mission. Took 45 minutes because they took breaks to fight and explore the attic. Major pain in the ass. im going to trade these two in for the three heart cats

Polo's Friday treat.
A couple of ciders or stouts for me, a pork and a meat pie for our boy.
He usually has 1 pork and 1 meat pie, the difference being one is oval, the other round ???
Yesterday he had 2 of the same kind, but didn't complain.
Of all the pies he has, these local ones are his favourite.

When we had ours years ago one of them would follow me up the ladder when I was decorating 😀

It’s an interesting at first they wouldn’t climb the ladder then the brave one, Maharishi went up it so his brother was soon to follow. Then they were both scared to scale down but again Maharishi went for it. His brother still can’t get the coming down part. What I found interesting was I went into that spare room again today and they both came in although the ladder was retracted and no access available to the attic they were both staring at that area of the ceiling meowing then looking at me. They wanted to get up there. Shows a modicum of intelligence if it weren’t for the little pull string hanging down I’d probably forget where it is.

When we just had the 2 cats one of them one of them climbed on a neighbours roof.
The other one who was the brighter of the 2 followed her.
Little un, the less bright one got down, Tigger couldn't 😕 and I had to get her down.
They were always close friends and Tigger looked after Little un's kittens.

Exhausted after A successful overnight hunt….
Adding some context: we are moving in a few weeks and all of the “playthings” have been packed away over the weekend

The two amigos seem to be doing better / not fighting, but that might be as old boy is still a bit under the weather and very clingy. He is on my lap as I type this. It can make dinner time a challenge but he does not seem to mind being a serviette. Young girl is now a big girl and brings a different table top challenge as she loves food and needs holding back (but she never scratches). I was late back the other night. You cant see her face but the expression was 'what time do you call this' she is moving back into outside mode as the weather improves which I hope will help her weight. She has developed the 'drape' maneuver for the fence now.
