I hope this does not come across as morbid but I accept it may be weird to some but we have our old pals ashes with us and I must confess that every day I stroke his casket and talk to him, t.b.h. until I lost my best pal I would never have dreamt I would feel this way.

I don’t think that’s morbid at all @Alpha the three cats I put down the 15 months or so the first thing they ask is if I wanted the ashes. Seems to be common and I know a lot of people do it. I considered it but another option they gave me was having the ashes spread at a park dedicated to animals. So all threes remains were spread at that park. I think whatever brings us a little peace and happiness is cool. I know many people who have their animals ashes at home.

May 2015 and I can see that look from my old pal as he shares this bed with the pup, I have to say he was brilliant putting up with a lot from the new arrival 👍

@Alpha they stay with us forever... Neo is my shadow, there will be an empty space when he will be gone. But that's life, and I'm sure I'll be talking about him for decades to come!

In the meantime, someone is 11 today...

God bless my wife but she got the cheapest “cat house” it has scratch pads inside but I told her it’s not good for the brothers Grimm as they have broken thin wood during their fights. I put the cheap thing together it took them a half hour to rip it apart which was actually longer than I expected. The main point of contention is they both can’t fit in at the same time so fights kept breaking out over who could sit in it.

I had dusting duty today which should be easy but rocky raccoon made it take much longer. Then he got the innocent look at treat time. Pretty sure he ruined my duster

Had to remove the handles in a new fridge as I moved it into the kitchen. Once reassembled I put my tools away leaving the doors open. Came back to find Rocky raccoon and Maharishi Yogi thinking they had a new box.

It's so hard not to admire them. Just your few stories are hilarious. They've got to be a continuous source of amusement.

I think of them as two Dennis the Menaces and you as Mr. Wilson.
