2 of our 'girls' back in the 80's.
As cat owners know, cats love empty boxes and can't resist getting in them.
Little un, on top, had kittens when she was only 11 months old but it was her friend Tigger who looked after them.
Little un once wrecked my chair which was part of a new 3 piece suite in a matter of days.
After that we had to buy a leather suite as I'd noticed the cats (3 girls and a tom) liked lying on any of our clothes apart from my motor bike leathers.
Both long gone but not forgotten

Do my ears look too big? I got this look for an hour last night, kept checking the food and water bowls everything was good. Not sure what’s going on.

I got him a new collar with a bell and secured it so he can not bite and crush it that could be the issue

I was having a pretty heated argument with my neighbor, he does not approve of the brothers Grimm Maharishi Maharishi Yogi or Rock Raccoon as they are not smart enough to fear him and when the brothers Grimm cats got out they were taunting him. As soon as I made a valid point he dissed me pretending to be smelling something of interest

Lazy Sunday post.

Not the dog, me. Geoffrey would prefer to be on a walk chasing squirrels.

Old boy catching some late September Sunday sun in the Rose bushes but keeping a weather eye on a young girl in a young pear tree.
Both were hanging around for some Sunday roast. Old boy has perfected the technique. An early seat at the table and then the gentle look of expectation when the cooking is done… followed by a nice satisfied snooze on his seat while we eat our dinner….

Young girl looking especially bonny today (post brush) - after stealing some of old boys sardine breakfast. That led to another cat fight at the O.K. corral... well a long staring contest anyway. Not sure who won, but old boy has retired deep into his contemplation box to recover and mull over his next move.....

' bonny' a word I love and use often without thinking about it 👍

Strange second time this happened. I worked my other job last night and had some down time I was messing around with my phone and found I had an Instagram thing that I didn’t know I had. Several pictures of hairy and sooper were on it. Can’t say I’m shattered just sad and miss them but shortly after I got home the brothers Grimm were all over me and it continued the minute my alarm went off. I can tell them apart now both by look and personality but my wife still “is seeing double” Maharishi Maharishi Yogi is definitely more affectionate and Rocky raccoon is taking the alpha cat status.
Here they are worshiping me because I gave them can food, something they never got at the rescue

She has 15 or so more years to get to tell them apart. Or maybe longer if they're like H&S.

I know it’s too late but knowing more of their personality (and of course yours 😁), plus how they look, they would have been a great Hans and Fritz.

Are you implying Maharishi Maharishi Yogi and Rocky Raccoon are not good names? How dare you. I gotta admit they don’t exactly roll off your tongue when calling them so somehow I added “brothers Grimm” when I call for feeding time but lately I’ve replaced that with “Bros” because as soon as I shake a bag or pop a can they are already underfoot. Actually all I need to do is walk in the kitchen. They will spend five minutes fighting each other to see who gets to the treats first but they are starting to realize all they need to do is sit and wait and i dole them out evenly. I think these two would do great with a dog in the house as they love my neighbors dog who hates them both with a passion.

Okay I gotta stop this reminiscing but it was garbage day and ever Thursday hairy would prance proudly the length of the entire driveway almost like a Clydesdale (spelling?) horse like she was helping me. Her last two weeks I’d carry her back. But she would wait if I took cloud pictures. This of course brought me some sadness but when I got back in I fed the Bros and Maharishi was on top of the fridge and jumped perfectly on my shoulders. Almost like I trained him. I did not train him he had adhd and can’t focus.

It’s like these two know when they should do something funny but I’m probably reading into it. Hairy would also wait if I took some cloud pics
