Daily walk with my old pal today with most of it in his stroller but he insisted on quite a long walk on paw which unfortunately I don't think we should be doing again 🙁

May not be obvious to many but he does look tired.

Chased a racoon up a tree. 4 in total. He's lost his mind. We carried him inside. Those racoons would kick his ass but he wants them out of his yard.

He has no control. It's in his genes. He can't help it. Powerful mojo. The mojo of life.

Apparently she is exhausted from watching me work out. 🙄

And in other news…📖

A German Shepherd, Doberman and a cat have died.
All three are faced with God who wants to know what they believe in.
The German shepherd says: "I believe in disciplined training, love & loyalty to my master."
Good," says God. "Then sit down on my right side. Doberman, what do you believe in?
The Doberman answers: "I believe in the love, care and protection of my master."
Ah," said God. "You may sit to my left."
Then he looks at the cat and asks, "And what do you believe in?"

The cat answers: "I believe you're in my seat."::stirthepot::

Now the weather is turning a bit the old boy is mostly inside. He has the run of the house but always seems to seek us out / he likes to keep a close eye in terms of what is going on. He has his best sleep with some background noise and activity. He is good company and has become a kind gentle cat (mostly :0) in his old age.

Developed some film and found Winnifred smiling for the camera. You can kinda see a smile dimple. She often has a big “smile” with a big dimples when she’s sleeping and comfortable. Usually when it’s actually bed time and she claims my side of the bed before I get the chance to.

That reminds me of this picture where I am pretty sure had I not had a watch with a metal band I would have lost my hand to this heartless vicious beast. It was a day I was lucky to walk away from

Yep, I remember the amazing pictures of how Archer managed to repair that watch afterwards. And glad you're OK too now.

i am not sure what frequencies cats are hearing from the watch movement so as to act that way

i am pretty sure my cats do not like the invisible (to human) focusing light waves emitted from camera

Oso Blanco. This would be our big white dog. Taken during the Polar Vortex earlier this year. He was the only happy person in Texas.

Hey! Whatcha eat’n?? I’ll be right here if anything falls.
That is a great shot. I remember my Shepard was always on high alert in the kitchen. I don’t think I ever found anything she would not eat. The grapes surprised me I just didn’t figure a dog would be big on fruit but she liked it all. Goodness I miss having a dog. I’m getting along great with my neighbors puppy he comes over to play daily but unfortunately my neighbor is putting up a dog fence. I guess the make non shocking ones now. I’d love him to leave things as they are so he can visit me but that dog got the zoomies like I’ve never seen and I’ve had to help him find pupper when it runs down the block a million miles an hour in the middle of the street. All things considered it’s a terrible thought but god forbid he run right in front of me when I’m driving up the driveway. Since he got it it takes me 5 minutes to get up my drive as I swear that dog is nowhere to be seen then right in front of the car. Shoot I hit a skunk and my day is ruined.

I assume that he is a Pyrenees? How does he do in the summertime? Growing up with a couple of them was great but they were not fans of hot weather. Up here in the GWN not so much of an issue but we had friends who had a Pyr and when they went on a sabbatical year in Spain they ended up shaving him🙁

SHAVING A PYR?!! Say it ain't so. The hair will never grow back properly. There are people here that use them as guardian dogs and they tell me they actually do better in heat than you would think because the coat provides insulation. This one has no idea, he's never worked for a living and spends a great deal of time inside. He just walks to the door when he's had enough heat. My wife's baby, was her anniversary present 3 years ago. First one I've ever had and just a really exceptional dog, one of the best I've ever had. But, if you grew up with them you already know that 😀
