·I have never seen a cat give somebody the shit eye……..till now.
For an August 1st weekend we had a grey UK weather day which did not help.... beer (for me) and catnip followed... then a rest..... then a brush … then ready for anything again... and a night out on the tiles for him at some point :0) I was trying to set up a Windows 10 laptop ….so I guess we were both Sunday grouchy :0)

·Some cloud cover this morning gave us enough of a break from the heat to go for a hike on a local trail. As you can see, Zelda was still warm, but she said it was worth it. 😉

·So the Old boy is now asking for a daily massage or two - his back end / hips are going a bit and he seems to know he needs it (it has taken a while / touching the back paws was not always a good thing :0). He still looks resplendent on a good day and can beat all comers in a race when he has the zoomies once a day. We have not had that much sun but the Evil one his nemesis sunbathes a lot and has now fully rusted / gone for the beach bum blond look.

·After a weekend away we have been slowly getting back in the Old Boys good books. Looks like our absence did help a thaw in relations with his on/off (mostly off) crush.. a touch of Romeo and Juliet in the garden today.... but not sure why he took the most energetic route to his normal perch... showing off perhaps. He might pull something else other than a girlfriend if he leaps around like that too much at his age....

··Never Used A KodakI’ve been feeding this injured little guy for 2 days. Today I was able to pick him up. He is now at a wildlife rehabilitation facility.

·More cat posts than I planned this week … but day 275 in the big brother house and today the relationship had a development … but still best described as a bit ‘edgy’ I guess :0) He is not used to sharing and they both still take social distancing to a new level… but getting nearer for once. Based on his jump down today (not bad for an ‘adjusted’ 81-year-old).. I might need to review the insurance levels. Over the years I have added a bounce pad and anti-slip pad to aid his typical and now sometimes shaky decent (Protecting his paws / my vet bills :0)
