I could be a dirty old man, but if I had a daughter I would not take pictures of their puppies.

Now I could get the wife to vouch for me, but then she would probably be upset I had a picture of her puppies without authorization

Here is Connie, one scary looking puppy in this picture
It’s all good no judgement passed it was a touch and go situation for a minute but looks like we got through it with no hurt feels

Isn’t it strange? I devote a lot of time to brushing sooper dooper elderly cats don’t keep up with grooming as the days progress. Never once have I brushed her and got to the point where I said “looks like I got it all”. I am actually considering bringing her to a groomer see if they can help me get to the bottom of this but she hates that cat carrier so much I don’t want to add more stress to her at her advanced age. I really don’t think she cares how she looks anymore

I suspect I have reached that age, daughters often come out with 'you're not going out like that' who cares it is the person inside that counts 😀

Two boars crossed the road 70 - 80 meters in front of me... and disappeared in the forest. I stopped. Fear took over. Cars stopped the rest of the pack from crossing. I thought the 2 boars had moved on, unaware they were waiting for the rest of the pack. This is a middle of nowhere road, it's unusual for those cars to pass. I carried on walking...When I got to the point of their crossing they made warning sounds at me... I carried on walking calmly but saying to myself ' as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...
If...they would of attacked, no one would ever have known what happened to me, except for possibly finding a large bloodstain. I was very lucky.
Since then I hate pigs with a Passion
Are those animals prone to attack humans. We have them in the US of course just not in my area. I already had an encounter with bears that closely mirrors your run in with the hogs. I saw the bigger bear cross a good distance in front of me I just stopped, she didn’t look my way but fortunately I stayed still for a few minutes as a couple of her Cubs crossed minutes later. Believe it or not (or maybe you know this) but you don’t really need to freak out if a bear crosses you tracks at a good distance but if it’s a moma with her Cubs you need to leave quickly. It all worked out the wind was blowing towards me and they sauntered away but we are just getting into hiking season the idea that I’m seeing them this quickly is a bit unnerving. I have heard wild boar can be very vicious but I’ve never had a run in with one I hope to keep it that way.

The sound they made at me was very aggressive and unpleasant. Stay safe and nice talking to you. And yes wild boar attack people, Hunter Thompson wrote about it and on YouTube you can see for yourself. They should all be wiped out.

Sooper dooper very vicious today. Laying down the law letting all felines know who’s the boss. (Actually I just happened to catch her yawning but figured I’d post it as it’s the only time she looked a little scary in 23 years)

Had a nice Victoria day weekend (the unofficial start of summer here) a.k.a. the May 2-4 weekend, and after playing some tennis we were tired, so relaxed on the back deck with the doggies. Remi was his usual self, so found a spot to go to sleep quickly, and Maeve was on the hunt as the squirrels and chipmunks ran by us on the deck...

But she eventually came up for a rest on my lap...

A fine life for some, this is his favourite spot to watch life going by but he has now worked out how to drag his blanket up with him 😀

It has taken a long long time but my old pal decided to be a rebel today and jumped on to my seat, I did lift him down when he was ready 🥰

The breakfast bar queue is getting longer / I was tardy opening up as having a long weekend... as long as the old boy has a lie in they are happy - not that he gives them any trouble these days.

A little set up. I haven’t been able to give super dooper her IV fluids for a couple days. A lot of stuff went missing and was found when I redid my cabinets. Located the package of new needles and gave her some IV fluids she instantly responded and became very interested in the final touches of putting the hardware on the cabinets.

The office assistant is slacking again... sleeping on the job... The chair was actually in the 'not for cats' position / humans only … but he must have slunk his way onto it - they love a challenge and wont take no for an answer!

I had to kick him out (weather is too nice to be inside anyway)…. He has retired to the Eagles layer / his cat nest..... 100% no humans allowed!

The love of our lives is in hospital at the moment and my old pal is totally lost, he has spent the day just wandering around or sitting staring in to space 🙁
I must confess I feel a bit out of sorts but her surgery has gone well and hopefully she will be home by the end of the week.

No I wouldn't inflict a pic.of yours truly on you all 😉
