Our feeder is in a pretty sheltered are, just outside the kitchen window. Some harmonious snacking going on in this photo...

I couldn't get them all in one photo, but we counted 26 Blue Jays, the most we've had at any given time. The squirrel and the bunny didn't seem to mind having them around, but the chipmunks that are usually there found it all a bit too much.

Of course we are cat free here, and Remi our older Whippet has never had much of a hunting instinct. Maeve the female though would be all over these if she had the chance.

Very nice. Actually had a blue jay once in the backyard here in urban AZ.

Unfortunately I can have picture like this but it is a flock of flying rat pigeons.

I could wipe them out with the pellet gun but my wife feels sorry for the flying rats.

😲
Caught in the act, love it 😁

Thanks
Unfortunately we don’t catch her often enough. Just yesterday my wife was boiling hard eggs. We set them individually on the countertop near the sink to cool down. Result: 1 egg on the floor and three in the garbage disposal/ incinerator part of the sink.
That cat 😲🥰

Apollo came along for a long car ride a few weeks ago, slept almost 8 hours straight. He was a trooper and kept me company.

It's time for Mimo to come home after 5 weeks.

She is shy for now, it will take a little time to get her trust

Still have all the leashes from our dogs, some almost 30 years old. The green one on top is Geoffrey's, our little dude who will be three at the end of the summer. The other's belonged to Guinness, Grizzly and Genevieve.

Still miss them.

This past Monday we went for our long 17km hike with Neo... He did enjoy it and was quite good at holding the distance 😀
The ice cream was my reward!

This is how the guy down the street from me mows his lawn. Three of these just eat it all up. Did you know they roll around on their back? Either that or I just happened to walk by when it fell over but it seemed to be having fun so I don’t think it fell.

Where do they go at night?
Ya know it’s kind of a mystery. It looks like he has enough room out back but I think he transports them must keep that at a farm or wherever people keep miniature horses. By the way hairy having a good day rolled around got her fur all dirty now recovering from the two minute frolic
