We had one of our terrific wind blasts that come up from the Columbia gorge each Winter. Besides blowing a rocking chair from the porch down the hill to the sidewalk, it destroyed Charlie's web. Pretty sad sight to see in the morning. It was quite a web. Here is a before picture:

I don't have an after picture to share, mainly because the light conditions are bad now. But this morning I see the beginning of another web forming in the upper corner.

Here is a picture of a nice catch in better times:

I think Charlie might actually be a Charlotte based on her size and the fact that a lot of males get eaten. Also, this impressive comeback from the recent storm suggests a certain strength of will that often eludes us males. Were there a spider pub, that is where I expected to find our Charlie after that devastating web destruction. But here we have another home in progress so I may need to address her as Charlotte.

In either case, we've learned that our infatuation with our spider is not unusual. When we told friends of our little pet, they told us similar stories of watching the progress of their own nearby spiders. We are just fortunate to have one pop up in our kitchen window for easy viewing.

Really, really, really a beautiful bird. My buddy has one and it starts barking to get his two dogs worked up then makes this witch like laugh. I l would love to get a bird to take care of unfortunately my cat hairy has brought too many home and I just wouldn’t feel safe having one in the house

Well, Maeve took off to another room as soon as the vacuum fired up, but Remi was quite happy to get a little grooming in...

Thank youuu yes he is :D .well the truth is they need a lot of attention they are like 5 year old babies but they really have a great personality and they are very loving with the family members . As for the cat dont worry they are pretty badass and hold their ground if there are other pets around the house !!:)

Yesterday, my friends dog became model. They even printed his face on the clothes! It was nice hanging out with national top models

    P. S. Don't worry, my wife was there too:whistling:

This could all be photo shopped. Need more model photos or it didn’t happen. If the dog isn’t in the picture that is ok

Just a little gentle ribbing here, but do you think you actually would have had a chance if your wife wasn't there. What would your pickup line be?

"Hey baby wanna see my Pre-moon Speedmaster?"

    It doesn't work, I've tried. ;)

More like, wanna see my 57' pie pan? ;)

In my defense, I'm 30 and mrs. Z is 6,7 years older then most of them, ex-model and works as consultant in fashion/health industry so I'm kinda used to these scenes :whistling:

EDIT: Today is my birthday, so I'm offically 31

I'm afraid to say we have a Stan down situation.

He took a down turn, stiff difficult movements, lethargic , not quite with it.

Vets diagnosis suggested a spine/ disc issue, however that didn't sit right with me as he looked more 'ill'- I even suggested a virus/ infection. Sent home with loads of the good stuff and to rest.

Day or so later spotted a big abscess on his foot, one he mainly sits on, so we're off to the Vets for an operation today, blood tests and hopefully a truck load of antibiotics.
I'm actually quite pleased it's not his spine, just want to know the blood results don't show sepsis.
Will update you as I know.
