Bonnies week in review.. Can I come up? I am off then.. It appears that I am growing out of everything! Eating my greens. Busted. A little synchronised snoozing. Having a chat with Buddha. So that's how it is going to be1 He started it. All good here, as long as that is not a spider. Bit weary now. Done
I have lost my little mate. Peck (Gregory Peck) passed away yesterday about 7.00am. It was totally unexpected as he wasn't showing any signs of being unwell, although in hindsight he was quieter than normal the day before. We suspect that Bonnie knew something was not right as my wife noticed him checking on Peck around 4.00am. He passed peacefully in my wife's hands and appeared not to be in any pain. For a diminutive figure he had a huge personality (I think in his mind he was a Condor) and has left a huge hole. Not to wake in the mornings to his call for everyone to wake up or get home and watch him running up and down his perch letting you know that is time for play. When he was being naughty and you would say "stop it" only to have him turn around and say in his cheeky little voice "stop it". I will so miss this little guy
The boys are getting ready for Christmas. Full disclosure, two pieces of cheese were used in the staging of this photo
So sorry !! Our non-human friends are really part of the family and, for sure, parting path is painful. Cherish the good memories together!
So sorry for your loss. Hoping all the fond memories and fantastic pictures give you comfort knowing you provided him a wonderful life. He certainly enriched yours.
I was doing my morning routine of watching a little news before leaving the house. I felt like someone was watching me, she was, for like five minutes hairy was freaking me out staring not moving an iota.
So this is where he goes in an evening before the last walk of the day, obviously daughters are easier going than I am
Someone I know has just got a Ragdoll kitten and I think there could be some jealousy in the camp.... but for a while he was extra well behaved and looking his best on the back of that... and when the sun broke through today he was back in the prime spot, yawning and being king of the hill again.... The Ragdoll was mega bucks so I don't plan to trade the old boy in / he is safe :0)
Daughter snapped this several years ago whilst on holiday in Spain, certainly don't see anything like this very often Walked perfectly at his side, certainly puts my boys to shame If you can't make out the image it is a pig, no collar or lead.
