Part of the morning routine....

 

Don’t they call that glamping? Like glamor camping?

 

We did this for the first time last week as we met up with my cousin who brought along her one y/o for his first camping trip. Usually a backpacker and at most a car camper, but could totally get used to glamping.

It’s been a while now but we usually just had the fire and sleeping bags. There is something wild about stargazing as you fall asleep. If it was cloudy or other crappy weather then we might consider a tent. I’ll admit when I look at it today I understand the attraction. It does look very comfortable and waking up with a snake in your sleeping bag was a bad way to start the day. I might try to do a glamping trip give it a whirl. Might make more sense just to get a room at the Marriott and hike during the day though.

 

While Hudson is yet to turn 1, he had decided to skip the puppy stage and go straight to being tidy and considered with neatly folded paws...

 

...until someone left the garage door open (me) and someone else decided that the recyling bin had interesting content (not me) - miscreant not to be seen...

I've posted my old lady in other threads but can't leave her out. That's not a harness but her seatbelt restraint for when she's in the car. Got to keep the babies safe.

 

I had to do such a double take then!

Yea, completely agree on the car harness, hate the idea of them not being strapped in when driving. We use Makuti harnesses which are good for stopping pulling, they also double up for use in the cars.

I had a good friend Anne Bruce, said she was a direct descendant of Robert Bruce. Anne had many dugs.

 

This one isn’t mine but I was meeting someone and this little fellow came up to bark at me. I tried to make peace letting him smell my hand but it was intent on protecting his side of the fence. Kind of hot out I backed off as I think he tired himself out barking but I found him a very interesting looking dog.
