Arrrghhh Lake District in 1963. Still in Scouts where you cook on open wood fires before the "luxury" of Primus stoves in the Senior Scouts. It rained most of the week and eventually Coniston Water rose enough to flood our campsite. But, I'm Patrol Leader, who is it who has to go outside in the rain and try to get a fire lit to give the younger boys some hot food? You guessed 馃槻

We packed up the heavy canvas tents still soaking wet and British Rail lost them for quite a few weeks. Rotted through when we eventually got them back.
